We’re in Zurich! Shelley is flying out of Zürich so we decided to accompany her and spend a couple of days here. There were very few airbnbs available and all very expensive, we figured that’s just how Zürich is, but unbeknownst to us we landed in the middle of “ Züri Fäscht 2023”, which is just about the biggest party in the entire world right now. This is a festival of food, music and multiculturalism that take place every 3 years in Zurich, attracts about 2 million visitors and takes over the entire city. I’ll post more details later but here is a teaser of basically the best fireworks show anywhere ever (except that one time in San Diego where they accidentally set of every firework at the same time).
I should mention that these were the 10:30 pm fireworks. There was another show scheduled at 1am. The bands and djs on the various stages around town are scheduled every night until 5am.
