Today we went for a walking safari in the Serengeti for about 2 hours (with an armed ranger), and then we had some pretty impressive views of some elephants and hippos. Unfortunately I can’t post videos on this blog 😩 so maybe I’ll share a couple somewhere and post a link …

Today we did a short game drive around Ndutu and then drove to Serengeti. Wildebeests wildebeests everywhere!!! Literally millions of them covering the plains. We also ran across, just by driving around: giraffes, elephants, zebras and more.
We also had a great adventure that I’ll elaborate once I’m back on a real computer 😜

Day 4 was another day cruising around the area of our camp in Ndutu. We started the day with some hippos, and then the day got very grim as we saw three cheetah eating their kill (we think a warthog) and then a group of buzzards eating a dead zebra (we think the remains of a lion kill).
As usual we saw the usual collection of zebra, wildebeests and giraffes (and miscellaneous other wildlife of course).
Tomorrow we head to the Serengeti.
