Another PETrait

This is the same  "PETrait" (Lucky the cat) but experimenting with a few different backgrounds.

"Cursed Goat Skull"

My latest, still life of a goat skull found on a hike on Jedediah Island with Chris Bennett.  Took a still life course with Noah Layne and the Noah Layne Academy of Realist Art.

Final "Art-chitechtural" Drawing

The final 2 exercises were "narrative" and "abstract" and I was running short of time so I combined 2 exercises into one drawing!

And with some added colour:

Art-chitechtural Drawings

For my architecture course I picked Christ Church Cathedral in Victoria.

Here are my orthographic projections (exterior and interior):

Here are a couple of perspective drawings of the exterior:

And one axonometric (cut-away) drawing:

Playing with Acrylics

I've had a French exchange family at my place for the past month, so I had to pack up my studio :-(  I picked up some cheap acrylics just so I could do some painting in the meantime (easier than lugging around everything I need for my oils).

I produced these 2 paintings and I decided that I really don't like working with acrylics.

Christ Church Cathedral (for my architecture class):

"Rayna D. Tutto" (a response to the new King Charles portrait):

A couple of experimental PETraits ...

 ... including a Human.

"Boy and his dog."

More PETraits

A few more PETraits for friends and family.
